| Maltese Heritage U16’s squad named for tomorrow’s Origin Harmony Cup |

The Harmony Cup brings together children representing the heritage of 11 nations, with 320 participants set to take to the fields of St Marys Leagues Stadium this Saturday morning. This U16 carnival involves junior representative players from NSWRL making up heritage-based teams representing Tonga, New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Lebanon, the Mediterranean, Africa, Italy, Fiji, Malta, Samoa as well as Indigenous sides from across the greater Sydney area and the north coast. The Maltese squad was announced following the final training session earlier this evening (AEST). The Maltese Heritage U16’s squad is as follows; “Even though the Telstra Premiership Season has drawn to a close, our work with our local communities and junior leagues continues right throughout the year,” NSW Rugby League Coaching & Development Manager, Martin Meredith said. 2012 U16 Origin Harmony Cup

Rugby League’s cultural diversity will be celebrated in western Sydney this weekend through the annual U16 Origin Harmony Cup at St Marys Leagues Stadium in western Sydney.










How did the boys go.
MRL: On the scoreboard, Maltese Heritage RL U16's won one match by forfeit and had two losses. A number of new friendships were made and the basis for a junior development programme has been launched, with more details to come out in due course.
