Denmark captain Eugene Hanrahan says he has never seen a higher level of intensity at training as he has the last two months. "This will for sure be a pumped and hard playing team of Danish Lions that will face the Maltese on Saturday's game at Gentofte Stadium. And the boys will do what they can to win the game and series". Flamboyant back Bjarne Vibe says the team has never been as good as it is now and the Maltese are guaranteed a strong opposition. "I'm proud of the way we have come along since the last game against Malta and the hard work on the pitch from head coach Nigel Kitchen and team coach Martin Pedersen-Scott has made the team better and playing as a team now". Hard working forward Martin Pedersen-Scott is unavailable for the Danes but says without doubt that the Lions will put on a massive game for the home crowd and is gutted he can't be there. "After the close game in Malta, I'm sure all the boys will be at their best on the day and will show the hard work we have put in at training". The game kicks off at 1400hrs (2pm Copenhagen Time) at Gentofte Stadium.
