On a sunny morning Thursday, the Vikingene were put through their paces by head coach Warren Heilig at St Clare College at Pembroke. Students of the all-girls school then joined the national team squad in some rugby league orientated fun games. Vikingene players are committing to two promotional schools visits during their four-day stay in Malta, tomorrow training and conducting a skills class at Tal Handaq Boys Secondary School, Qormi. Players handing out two-for-one tickets to tomorrow evening's match while under 16s are permitted free entry. The pre-match function will take place at Portside Lounge, Sliema from 8.30pm this evening with the general public most welcome. Malta takes on Norway for the 2010 European Bowl tomorrow night, Friday 4th June at Victor Tedesco Stadium, Hamrun. Kick off is at 7pm with gates opening from 6pm. |





Norway’s national rugby league team trained this morning with an enthusiastic group of supporters watching on and then taking part in a skills class.
