| EUROPEAN FEDERATION BOARD MEETS IN PARIS |
 Prior to the Gillette Fusion Test between France and England on Saturday, the Board of the Rugby League European Federation (RLEF) will convene to plan ahead for the continuing growth of the sport across the continent.Richard Lewis will chair the meeting with Gary Tasker, Nigel Wood, Vice-chairman Nicholas Larrat, Jean Alain Rives and Christophe Jouffret in attendance at the offices of IMG in Paris. Among the items to be discussed are the grants procedures and disbursements for 2009, the institution of a five year international calendar at various levels-which will include qualifying guidelines for the next World Cup in 2013-and the formal adoption of the Federation’s Strategic Plan. Details of this autumn’s European Cup are expected to be ratified along with how that competition is scheduled to roll |
