 (Above) In the Class Room THE 2010-11 MRL ACADEMY TEAM (Below) At the Rugby Field  BACKGROUND 13 students, for the next three years, commit to the newly introduced subject - PE Certificate. The course focuses on all aspects of rugby league. The MRL Academy will be introduced to rugby league with fixtures against opposition teams and have a close relationship with their nearest football stadium, Victor Tedesco Stadium, being located only a 15-minute walk from the school. For other events, the school features a cemented quadrangle that hosted a rugby league promotion last October between Malta national team players and a touring Lancashire team. The school Headmaster Mr A.Vassallo along with PE teacher Mr R.Attard are enthusiastic at the Academy's prospects and the opportunities that lie for the privileged students involved in the pilot course.
