PAGEANT The Miss Malta Knight Pageant was introduced in 2005 as a method of introducing a broader market, namely females, to Rugby League and helping them get in touch with their Maltese heritage.
Each year the Malta Rugby League’s gala event of the year has been a sell-out and well attended by celebrities and sporting personalities alike.
Opportunities for contestants include the contesting of crowns including Miss Congeniality, Miss Charity and of course the prestigious Miss Malta Knight Crown itself.
From ushers to photographers or choreographers to musicians, the Miss Malta Knight Pageant is a wonderful way to be involved through one of the Malta Rugby League’s glamour events of the year.
DISCO Malta Nites U18’s was derived from the need for a social venue for Sydney’s growing teenage Australian-Maltese population, specifically entrenched in Sydney’s north-west.
The bimonthly event is held at the Hamrun Association Club in Marsden Park, welcoming over 200 youth through its doors every night and has hosted special guests including the reigning Miss Malta Knight Pageant Winner.
The event regularly requires voluntary assistance in the form of canteen attendants, door persons etc.

PLAYERS WORLDWIDE As the Malta Rugby League works tirelessly off the field, the players on the field deserve a pat on the back for their efforts in any and every match where they have been bestowed with the honour of wearing the red and white.
And some players too, due to contractual arrangements, have not yet been permitted to represent Malta at international level Rugby League. Whether it’s the substitute at the Hemel Stags or the halfback in a domestic rugby league match in Malta to the head coach of the Sharks NYC U20’s or the halfback of the Penrith Panthers in the NRL, next chance you get, make the effort to say Go Malta! or even give them a handshake and have a quick chat and make it known that you support the Malta Knights.
Sometimes that little bit of effort in letting someone know they are appreciated goes a mighty long way.
FACEBOOK The Malta Rugby League has an official representation on the social networking website – Facebook.
Join the official group of the MRL, the Malta Rugby League (MRL) group and invite other Maltese and Rugby League lovers alike, or even your friends, to join the ever growing family of supporters of the Malta Rugby League.
