Born in Malta, the Hon. John Aquilina MP has held his position in parliamentary office in Australia since 1981 and is:

• Member of the Legislative Assembly
• Member for Riverstone
• Parliamentary Secretary Leader of the House
• Member of Australian Labor Party

Mr Aquilina is arguably the utmost respected individual in the Maltese community across Australia and the MRL is honoured to bear the privilege of naming him as the patron of its organisation.
